Shane Shepherd

Shane Shepherd writes and sings original songs, telling stories of the Australian cultural landscape with an acoustic guitar. The sound sits between country and folk, and it's a solo show, so it's best in a room where people have come to hear the words: a small listening gig, a community event, a folk night. The first EP included Koori Girl, a song that placed among the ten best in the Australian National Song Writing Competition in 2017. Shane is based in Budgewoi, NSW, and travels nationwide.
