Serena Melanie builds each set around whoever is on the floor that night, and her range runs hard and fast: trance, hard techno, bass house, tech house, hard dance and UK garage. She plays what feels right in the moment rather than a fixed list, so each night takes its own route. Her background is unusual for a DJ. She trained in classical performance and spent 22 years on stage before trading it for the decks, where she has now spent six years. Away from the booth she builds the online presence for festivals, venues, event brands and record labels. She's based in Collingwood, and she suits a late-night party or club crowd that wants proper dance music.
