SEQ Entertainment, Sound & Lighting look after the whole production side of a night, well beyond the playlist. A DJ is the centre of it, with sound, lighting, staging, screens, microphones and even an MC available around them, so a gala dinner, conference or wedding can come from one supplier. Before the event the team talks through your music, must-play songs and anything to avoid, and works with your venue and other suppliers. They arrive early enough to set up and test before guests walk in. Plan for a clear space of about 3 by 3 metres for the DJ booth, sound and lighting, more for staging or screens, and two standard power outlets nearby. The Brisbane crew mostly works South East Queensland but will go as far as 500 km, and they're covered by public liability insurance.
