Scars and Strikes is a musical duo based in Sunshine Coast, QLD.
Scars and Strikes like to pull out songs you know well but have never heard a duo try. Tim plays guitar and is a drummer and composer as well, while Tiff sings and writes. Between them they mix soul, rock, R&B, pop and country, so a set might put Bill Withers' Use Me beside Big Jet Plane, Follow the Sun, When the Sun Goes Down and Creep. They read the crowd and play to it, and the energy on stage is part of the show. Sets run 50 minutes. The duo will supply PA and lights, or work with the venue's own, and they play anywhere from pubs to parks. Based on the Sunshine Coast, they travel up to 100 km.
