SaxBeatz is a DJ and saxophone duo based in Sydney, NSW.
House beats with a live saxophone laid over the top is the SaxBeatz sound. DJ Chabi drives the music, and in the classic duo, alto saxophonist Malina Kelderman plays live lines across chart hits, remixes and reworked classics. Expect Dua Lipa, Daft Punk and Bruno Mars next to Calvin Harris, Swedish House Mafia and Dom Dolla, with deep house from Purple Disco Machine and Nora En Pure along the way. Chabi also plays electric hand drum and bongos, and the full show adds vocalists for private and corporate functions. They bring the whole rig, including two 15-inch PA speakers, LED and UV lights, Pioneer decks and a wireless handheld mic for speeches, and lasers, hazers and smoke can be added. Sydney crowds have caught them at Opera Bar, Ivy Penthouse, Starship Sydney and Hotel Steyne in Manly. They're public liability insured and travel nationwide.
