Savage Water Arts

Savage Water is a fire performer from Mackay who sizes the show to your space. On a stage or at a festival she works through fire eating, snake poi, staff and double staff, rope dart, sword, palm torches and lyco torches. Her biggest piece, Taurus, is an outdoor spectacle built around a blazing horned helmet, with extra performers joining her. Smaller venues can have an intimate fire-eating cabaret act, and daytime or family crowds get silk fans, silk poi and stilt walking instead. She brings fire blankets, extinguishers and a trained safety person, and needs a safe area with somewhere to dip the props. Indoor fire shows need the room's dimensions and a site visit first. In 2025 she performed at the North Australian Festival of Arts and at Cairns Festival. Her cover includes public liability, she's cleared to work around children, and Mackay to 100 km out is her range.
