Sass & Sax cover a lot of dance-floor ground for two people: soul and disco, Motown, dance pop and some soul jazz. Jodie-Joy fronts it and supplies the sass in the name, while Luke Weston is a multi-instrumentalist, which gives the pair plenty of room when requests start coming in. Jodie-Joy's résumé takes in luxury hotel stages overseas and work with some big names in the industry. It's a handy booking when you want a duo that can carry a night from a Motown singalong through to a disco finish without needing a full band on stage.
