Sam Bannink

Sam Bannink plays full time, seven days a week, and can pitch a set anywhere from relaxed to high energy. It's a one-person show built on guitar, keys, vocals and looping, with DJ sets as well, and pubs, clubs, cafes, restaurants and private gigs are all familiar ground. Five years of weddings sit behind the act too. The set list pulls from a very wide spread: Cold Chisel and John Farnham, Tracy Chapman and Whitney Houston, Zac Brown Band and Keith Urban, Bob Marley and Shaggy, plus The Proclaimers, Johnny Cash, Coldplay and Creedence Clearwater Revival. All the setup asks for is shelter from rain or sun, a power point and a square of floor 3 metres each way. Sam lives on the Sunshine Coast, the travel range is Australia-wide, and public liability cover is held.
