Saltwater Rock

Three 45-minute sets of rock covers, with short breaks between, is how Saltwater Rock plays a night. They're a four-piece from the Sunshine Coast, big on guitar solos and harmony vocals, and the covers are drawn from the 70s, 80s and 90s: Paul Kelly, ZZ Top, Queen, The Angels, Bryan Adams, Creedence, Billy Idol, The Sunny Boys, Springsteen and plenty more. It's music for getting people up and dancing. They've played The Apollonian, Noosa Tewantin RSL Club, Joe's Waterhole and Coolum Peregian RSL, plus a long run of private parties. Plan for a stage area of at least 3 m by 4 m with power, and let them in 1.5 hours early to set up and soundcheck. Outdoors, the spot has to be fully weatherproof. Home is Noosa Heads, with a 50 km travel radius.
