Ross Smithard and Up Jumped Trouble

Ross Smithard calls the steps as well as playing fiddle, so a bush dance or square dance with his band doesn't need anyone who's done it before. Up Jumped Trouble play Appalachian old-time music: Turkey in the Straw, Cripple Creek and Cotton Eyed Joe sit next to original fiddle and banjo tunes and folk music from further afield. Annette plays clawhammer banjo, Margaret is on guitar and Jackie plays banjo uke, with Ross and Jackie singing. A double bass can be added for more bottom end, and they'll help you choose the right combination for your event. The PA comes with them.
