Roomates

Roomates started out in a garage in Wollongong and now play what they call the new wave of pub rock. Picture a loud, energetic set full of big hooks, mixing old-school Australiana with indie pop, played by a band that clearly loves being on stage. They've released a debut EP, Useless Poems. The songs are theirs, so they make most sense when your crowd wants originals played loud in a pub or at a party. They credit their mums as an influence, which tells you something about the sense of humour.
