RollerToaster is a cover band based in Melbourne, VIC.
Most bands stop three times a night. RollerToaster would rather keep you dancing, so they play two sets of an hour and 20 minutes with a single break, though the usual three 45-minute sets are on offer too. The trio is drums, bass and a guitarist who sings, working from more than 250 songs across 80s, 90s and 2000s rock, classics and a bit of pop punk. Think Everlong, Kids in America, Killing in the Name, April Sun in Cuba, Mamma Mia and All the Small Things. With that many songs, they follow whatever the floor responds to. For bigger or more corporate gigs, a female singer and a second guitarist can join to make a five-piece. Full PA and lighting come with them; you supply power and room for the band. From Melbourne's south-east suburbs they travel up to 200 km, often to Echuca, Sale and Wonthaggi. They're insured.
