Rodrigo Santiago

Rodrigo Santiago builds the band around your event. He can play solo guitar, or bring a duo, trio, quartet or bigger group, adding trumpet, violin, double bass, saxophone, piano or vocalists. The music is Latin, jazz, gypsy jazz and flamenco, taking in bossa nova, boleros, samba, salsa and Cuban styles along with the jazz standards. He has battery-powered equipment for spots without mains power, and a full PA and lighting can come along when needed. He's happy to take requests and will learn a song for a special moment. Born in Spain, Rodrigo completed a Bachelor of Jazz Performance at Brisbane's Jazz Music Institute in 2016. He's spent ten years in the Brisbane scene, playing residencies, festivals, private functions and community and government events. Public liability insured, he travels nationwide.
