About
Rockit is a cover band based in Perth, WA.
Matt sings and plays keyboard and guitar, John sings and plays guitar and harmonica, Tim sings and plays bass, and Dave sings and drums, and between them Rockit spans five decades, starting in the 50s and running clear through to the 2000s. Keyboards do a lot of the heavy lifting in that mix, standing in for organ, brass, strings and synth wherever a song calls for them, alongside piano proper. A choice of acoustic or electric drums and a full PA and lighting rig let the Perth band adjust to venues of very different sizes. Two hour sets are standard, and the group covers up to 200 km from home.
