Rock n Roll Boys

Bring dancing shoes, because the Rock n Roll Boys play fast and keep going. All the singing, guitars and keys are live, shared between John Mitchell, Bob Cole, Lyall Barron and Chas Whitling, over bass and drums recorded live for the backing. The set starts with 50s and 60s favourites like Elvis, Bill Haley, the Beatles, the Easybeats and Ol' 55, then moves into 70s crowd-pleasers from Santana, Eric Clapton, Bruce Springsteen and Robert Palmer. Rock and roll dancers follow their shows from Brisbane up to Mackay. They're regulars at retro festivals too, including the Gympie Music Muster, Waterhole Rocks and Beachfest in Caloundra. A dance club night, a retro party or a 50s-themed birthday is where they fit best.
