Robustt

Robustt is a Sydney DJ who also produces, and the crates cover a lot of ground. Hip hop and R&B sit next to disco, pop and electronic music, so a set can start somewhere smooth and finish somewhere much harder. That spread is handy on a night when the crowd doesn't agree on one sound, say a birthday where half the room wants throwbacks and the other half wants club tracks. The producer side matters too, since making tracks and mixing them draw on the same ear. Energy is the aim from the first record to the last.
