About an hour before your guests walk in, Robbie is already at the venue, setting up and running a sound check. After more than 20 years as a mobile DJ, the kit is all self-supplied: lights, mixers and speakers, plus a mic for speeches when needed. Before the night, you'll go through a must-play list, a do-not-play list and the timeline, so speeches, the first dance and the cake cutting land at the right moment. Any genre is on the table, including music for cultural celebrations. Robbie works weddings, engagements, birthdays and sporting club nights as well as corporate functions, reading the floor as the night goes. Let Robbie know if the venue is upstairs.
