RnB Soul Train is Roimata and Jessica Howell, a married duo from Albany who mix soul and R&B covers with songs of their own drawn from lived experience. Their set moves easily from Bill Withers' Ain't No Sunshine and Tracy Chapman's Fast Car to Dance Monkey, Budapest, Hoops and a Creedence mashup of Proud Mary and Have You Ever Seen the Rain. They've played numerous festivals and supported established artists, and they have a growing catalogue of recordings. They bring a PA and can supply lighting if the venue is dim. Allow a flat, stable space with room to move, power nearby, and cover from sun, wind and rain outdoors. They travel up to 100 km.
