Rhys Tolhurst can switch instruments as the night moves on: acoustic guitar for one stretch, piano for another, then a DJ set to keep people dancing. So a long event doesn't need three separate acts. On television, he's sung lead on Seven's Dancing With The Stars and sat on the judging panel of All Together Now, also on Seven, and he reached the finals of Australia's Got Talent. Away from the cameras he has played more than 500 events. Rhys grew up in Cairns and now calls St Kilda in Melbourne home.
