Retro Tone Duo is a musical duo based in Merewether, NSW.
Lisa sings and Matt plays guitar, keeping time on a stomp box and adding harmonies, and between them Retro Tone Duo can pitch a night anywhere from mellow to rowdy. Early on it might be Norah Jones, Ain't No Sunshine or Can't Help Falling in Love. Later, Flame Trees, Livin' on a Prayer, Boys in Town and Ex's & Oh's get things moving, with Jolene, Dreams and Dancing Queen along the way. The songs start in the 60s and come forward from there, taking in country rock and classic rock as well as pop. Beyond the duo, they can offer solo instrumental guitar or add a DJ. All they ask for is power. Home is Merewether, near Newcastle, they're insured, and they'll travel up to 100 km.
