Game day is where Retriever Sound do their best work. Dyson and Paula run the Western Australian family business, building custom sets for big sporting and corporate events with the show callers, technical crews and game-day producers running the event. A typical brief covers the whole arc of the day: a pregame set and hype build, banner run-throughs, highlights packages, dance-offs and crowd segments, then the post-game set. They've worked events involving Chelsea, the NBL, Manchester United, the Rugby League World Cup and the AFL, and they played the opening of Perth's Optus Stadium. For a stadium, a sports club function or a large corporate event where the music has to follow a run sheet, they know the drill. They're based in Perth.
