Renat Yusupov's cello can be the whole show, or the start of one. Book a cello solo, a cello and piano duet, a string trio or a full string quartet, depending on the room and the moment. The music moves between jazz, light classical and pop, so a ceremony might have Perfect or A Thousand Years and dinner might bring Can't Help Falling in Love or whatever the couple asks for. Two decades and more of weddings, birthdays, dinner parties and corporate work sit behind it, on stages in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and St Petersburg in Russia. If the venue has a piano, as many churches and restaurants do, the duo uses it; if not, a keyboard comes along and needs power. Brisbane-based, public liability insured, with travel up to 200 km.
