Refractory Road

Refractory Road play loud, guitar-heavy rock and blues with the grit of a West Australian pub. The band comes out of Northam in the Wheatbelt, where they've been part of a revival of original rock, and their own songs are the heart of the show. Big, clear vocals ride on top of that full-throttle guitar sound, and the stage presence is up close and in your face. It's music for people who like to stand up close to the stage with a drink, and the lyrics give the originals something to hold on to.
