Random Sass

Random Sass is Sara and Clare, and the name fits: you're never quite sure where the next song will land. Jazz and blues from the 30s to the 50s sit at the heart of it, with R&B, soul and the odd contemporary song thrown in more or less at random. A smaller event can have one of them on their own; otherwise it's the pair. Sara has been singing for more than 25 years, everything from a cappella and gospel to rock, with a soft spot for jazz, blues and soul. For one-off gigs they bring their own PA. At a festival, they'll need two vocal microphones on stands and a keyboard amp. They're based at Picnic Bay in Queensland and travel up to 50 km.
