Radio Active

Radio Active carries more than 20,000 songs, and the idea is simple: quiet background jazz while people talk, then dance tracks once the night gets going. The music runs from 60s rock 'n' roll through 70s and 80s rock and 90s anthems to current Top 40, all songs guests will know. You can choose as many tracks as you like ahead of time, or leave it all to the DJ. MC duties for introductions and announcements come as part of the booking, which saves hiring a separate host. The set-up includes speakers, LED, RGB and UV lighting, cordless microphones and, if the venue permits it, a smoke machine. Allow about 2 metres by 1.5, one power point near the dance floor, plus a meal, drinks and parking. More than 35 years in the job, insured, based in Greensborough and happy to travel 100 km.
