Problem Green play garage punk with enough groove to dance to. The Sydney four-piece, based on Gadigal and Wangal land, lean hard into 90s garage rock. Emi Ew fronts the band with ferocious vocals, Sweet B plays washed-out rhythm guitar full of scratchy harmonics, and James Hardcastle and Nash 'The Metronome' Geary hold down the rhythm section. First-timers in the crowd usually aren't ready for the punch this band packs. They suit a pub gig or a party where the guests want punk energy up close.
