PIP GROOVE

Deep, hypnotic minimal is what PIP GROOVE plays, the slow-building kind that keeps a floor locked in for hours. He started out in Colombia's underground club scene in 2008, playing respected venues and pushing deep, tech-minimal sounds early on. By 2012 he was on bills with international names such as Nicole Moudaber, Paco Osuna, Lee Foss, Technasia, Rino Cerrone, Shlomi Aber, Secret Cinema and Marco Bailey. He moved to Melbourne in 2014, where his sound turned more refined and groove-driven. His natural habitat is an underground club night or warehouse party, playing late to people who want depth over hits.
