PinkPoliceVan is a guitarist based in Sydney, NSW.
PinkPoliceVan is Dave Ben Lee's guitar show, built on songs from Pink Floyd, The Police and Van Halen, sung and played over authentic backing, with instrumental surf rock and other guitar classics in between. Comfortably Numb, Wish You Were Here and Run Like Hell sit next to Roxanne, then Pipeline, Wipeout, Rumble and the Hawaii Five-O theme, plus Money for Nothing and The Boys of Summer. Dave's qualification is a Fellowship Diploma from the London College of Music, in electric guitar performance. Choose the format: fully acoustic, semi-acoustic over backing tracks, or all electric. Set-up is quick, and smaller venues can have battery-powered amplification. Tell him the room size and whether the venue supplies PA, lighting and a sound person. Sydney-based, insured, travels nationwide.
