Phll Coyne & The Wayward Aces

Harmonica leads the way with Phil Coyne and The Wayward Aces, a band playing their own harp-driven Australian blues. Phil fronts it, blowing harp and singing songs about love, life and circumstance with a good dose of humour. Morgan Klose plays guitar rooted in the blues with a funk player's timing, Dale 'Gloveboy' Lindrea holds down the bass, and Will Harris drums with the swing of 50s Chicago blues. Both releases, the self-titled one and Sound & Fury, have reached charts overseas and been played on radio well beyond Australia. A festival stage suits them, and so does a Saturday night bar where people want to dance. Expect a loud, fun blues party built for a crowd on its feet.
