Phil Smart is a DJ based in Byron Bay, NSW.
Warehouses, festivals, bars and clubs, here and abroad, have been Phil Smart's working life, and he's always gone looking for fresh, forward-thinking electronic music to play. He took out the vote for Australia's DJ of the Year in 2000, and he's twice been voted into DJ Magazine's Top 100 DJs. He's released records on Thunk, Future Classic, Motorik and Junkbeats, and he's helped put on some well-loved parties in Sydney and further afield. He's based in Byron Bay.
