Peter Helliar

An MC who's also a stand-up gives your night two things at once: someone to run the program, and someone who can get a laugh out of it. Peter Helliar is both. He was a regular on Rove McManus's show on Nine and stayed with it when it switched to Network Ten, then later joined the hosting line-up on The Project. It's a Date, a comedy series for the ABC, was his creation, and he starred in it too. That mix of live comedy and television is what he brings to an event, a presenter's sense of timing and a comic's ease with an audience. Think awards nights, conference dinners and end-of-year parties. He's based in Victoria.
