Perth Bush Band

A bush dance gets people mixing like nothing else, because sooner or later you're linking hands with a friend, a child or someone you've never met. Perth Bush Band make that happen with their own brand of Australian folk and dance music. The core trio is fiddle, acoustic guitar and bass or double bass, and the band can grow to five players. Thousands of people have danced to them, here and on tours through Asia, Europe, Mauritius and New Zealand. In Perth they've played some of WA's biggest citizenship ceremonies, the Masters Swimming Championships, and Perth's Anzac Day breakfast in the Supreme Court Gardens. Wedding receptions are a regular booking, since a bush dance is an easy way to get two families mingling, and birthdays, school functions, family fun days, festivals and corporate events suit it too.
