Paul Graves - Snowboarding Pioneer

Snowboards weren't always allowed on Australian mountains, and Paul Graves was there for the fight to change that. His keynote tells how the sport began, the push-back it met, and what it took to get boards legalised on the slopes, with original footage nobody else has. The lesson he draws is about the passion and persistence it takes to build a sport, and an industry, from nothing. He's also booked as an after-dinner speaker and as an MC. As MC he talks through the format and purpose of your event first, gathers the speakers' bios, then meets each speaker briefly before the program starts. For keynotes he'll talk with you beforehand about your themes and message. On the day, a wireless headset or lapel microphone does the job, along with video and sound for the footage. He's based at Avoca Beach and travels nationwide.
