Patricia Alvarez

World music is Patricia Alvarez's home ground, and she handles it from two angles at once, singing and playing keyboards. Much of her working life has been spent as a session player for well-known names in Sydney's world music scene. That background runs through Latin, African and reggae bands, so she's used to fitting into a groove someone else has set.
