Pat Farmer

Pat Farmer is the only man to have run between the two poles, setting out from the North Pole and finishing at the South Pole, and it's one of several world records he holds for endurance running. Other runs have taken him right around Australia, through Vietnam, across the Middle East and from one end of India to the other. Off the road, he spent nine years as an MP, and his honours include an AM and the Prime Minister's Achiever of the Year award. In his talks he draws on those runs to hand audiences practical tools for tackling big challenges. More than 30 years of speaking have put him in front of international sales teams, schools and governments. He's also an author and business leader, and his running has raised money for many causes. He'll need a lapel mic, a projector and a screen. Sydney-based, travels nationwide.
