Medleys are the Partysonic trick. Instead of one song at a time, the showband runs hit into hit, which means more songs squeezed into your night and fewer gaps on the dance floor. Superstition might roll into Let's Groove, Uptown Funk into Nutbush, with September, Kiss, Happy, We Are Family, Long Train Running, You Should Be Dancing, Love Foolosophy and Play That Funky Music all in the mix. The line-up draws on some of Sydney's busiest working musicians. Most of their bookings are weddings and company nights, and the show is made for a room that came to dance.
