Party Club

Sax, keys, a lead singer and a cowbell make up Party Club, and the Gold Coast duo sounds much bigger than two people. Dezi K sings lead, adds percussion and reads the crowd to choose what comes next, while Ceris James plays keys plus alto and tenor sax, sings harmonies and takes the sax out onto the floor. For canapés they can keep it smooth, with sax, keys and vocals over mellow tracks. Later the set jumps from the 60s to current hits, taking in country, reggae, rap and R&B as well as rock and pop, with custom mash-ups packed in. Their own sound and lighting engineer comes to every gig, and add-ons include lighting, a smoke or bubble machine and background visuals themed to the songs. Dezi K has also sung on The Voice. They play weddings and festivals, big corporate events and private functions, plus restaurants and bars.
