Paralympian and Human Rights Activist

Geoff's talks sit where elite sport meets human rights. Gold came at the Sydney Paralympics in 2000, and he raced again at Athens in 2004. He was the first to break 14 seconds in the 100m wheelchair sprint, a world record he still held when he retired in 2005. Across a ten-year professional career he was named Queensland Paralympian of the Year, was a Young Queenslander of the Year finalist and received a Medal of the Order of Australia. Today he runs Inclusion Moves, a social change organisation that speaks up for disability inclusion. His sessions tie the two together into a story about integrity, honesty, diversity and sheer determination. That gives a conference or leadership day on inclusion someone who has lived both sides.
