Outshined

Two hours of 90s grunge, played with real intensity, is what an Outshined show delivers, and the full set can stretch to two and a half. The Brisbane five-piece works through the anthems of Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains, Nirvana and Stone Temple Pilots, with Temple of the Dog and Tool in the mix too. They keep adding songs, so the list stays fresh for people who come back. The members are longtime friends, each with more than 20 years in the Queensland music scene, and the band has been playing since 2015, much of it around the Gold Coast and northern NSW. It's a full concert-style show, best for a venue night or a crowd that knows those records by heart.
