One Man Van

Van Nguyen builds a whole band's worth of sound on his own, one layer at a time. He plays acoustic guitar into a looping station, records a part, then sings and plays over the top of it, so a solo booking ends up sounding full and lively. The songs come from rock, R&B and pop. That combination of range and a one-person setup makes One Man Van easy to slot into a wedding, a community event or a concert bill, and he's played all three. Van is based in Sydney.
