OMG Improv

Nobody at an OMG Improv show knows exactly what's coming, the performers included. The Far North Queensland troupe builds scenes on the spot from whatever is happening in the room, using word play, mime, characters, innuendo, singing and musical scenes. Audience participation is part of it, so every show turns out different, and there are hundreds of games to draw on to suit your event. You pick the tone: there's an adults-only version and a family-friendly one. Founder Wendy Ramsey brings more than 30 years of entertaining to a newer team of players. Regular open mic nights keep the players sharp, on the Tablelands at Atherton and in Cairns itself, and they'll take a private party or function within 100 km. Give them a stage or open area with room to move, and sometimes dance. They're insured, with a certificate of currency available.
