Nyssa and Alex is a musical duo based in Sydney, NSW.
Guests arriving at a ceremony with Nyssa and Alex hear acoustic guitar, cello and two voices in harmony. The brother and sister duo from Bowral play acoustic pop and French music, and can cover a wedding from the ceremony through canapés to the reception. Walking-down songs include Georgia by Vance Joy, Marry Me by Train and A Thousand Years, with La Vie En Rose or Hallelujah for the signing and I'm Yours to finish. They'll learn one special song for you and can record pieces for your video. Since winning a busking competition at home, they've played live on ABC Radio, sung the anthem in Wollongong when Australia met Thailand in a beach soccer final and released an EP, Seasons, in 2018. They bring their own mics, amps and instruments and need only power and a covered area. Insured, and they travel nationwide.
