Nullibi

Requests arrive by phone at a Nullibi gig. Guests pick from a long list of covers and originals on their own mobiles, and Paul McCarthy builds each song live with a loop pedal: guitar, drums, bass, harmonica and vocals, layered on the spot with nothing pre-recorded. The result sounds like a band and gets people dancing, whether the room is small or packed. Expect rock and pop, pub rock and Aussie classics, with some indie-folk and country in the mix. If you'd like real players beside him, there are duo and full band options too. Paul is Wollongong-based and travels up to 100 km. He needs power and brings everything else, and he holds public liability insurance.
