NUG plays vinyl, and the sets lean into house music with plenty of texture. Behind the decks is an electronic producer who also owns the label Walking Distance, so the records come from someone who makes and releases music as well as playing it. That suits a late club session, a record bar or a warehouse party where the dance floor wants depth and a slow build more than a run of radio hits.
