NoTurns play folk rock with a rough edge, and a lot of their songs lean towards the bittersweet. The Melbourne four-piece is led by two singer-songwriters, Lucas and Devon, whose songs are personal and open. Ethan plays lead guitar and James keeps the rhythm. Their influences range across plenty of genres and eras. Their songs reward people who actually listen, so a band room, a small festival stage or a laid-back bar night will suit them better than a wedding dance floor.
