Norman Swan

Health is the subject, and Dr Norman Swan has built a long ABC career on making it make sense to people outside medicine. He came to broadcasting from medicine, with training in paediatrics. He's behind Coronacast, a podcast, and the Health Report, and he's done television reporting as well. Along the way he's won Walkley Awards and published books of his own. For a health conference, a medical sector dinner or a staff wellbeing day, he's a speaker whose background covers both the medicine and the media. He's based in Sydney.
