Classic R&B, a catchy pop anthem, something cheesy and a hard-hitting house track, one straight after the other. On paper that mix sounds like it should fall apart, and making it hang together is exactly what NiPSLiP are good at. The Sydney DJ act is a duo, Amie Hess and Maple Behaviour, and half the fun of their sets is hearing genres that shouldn't meet run into each other. So they suit a party with a mixed-up guest list, where one style for four hours would lose half the room.
