Night Cats is a cover band based in Melbourne, VIC.
Classic pub rock, all night: that's the Night Cats plan. The Melbourne band's list is stacked with Australian staples like Khe Sanh, Eagle Rock, Working Class Man, The Nips Are Getting Bigger, Long Way to the Top and Dumb Things, with Holy Grail, Better and To Her Door in there too. Overseas favourites fill the gaps: Proud Mary, Mustang Sally, Sweet Home Alabama, Bad Moon Rising, Brown Eyed Girl, Rockin' in the Free World. A singer on guitar fronts the band, backed by lead guitar, bass and drums. They'll set up just about anywhere, as long as they're under cover from the rain, so a backyard party or a clubroom works as well as a pub. Travel is up to 200 km.
