Nashville Road is a country band based in Brisbane, QLD.
A live fiddle cuts through the mix at a Nashville Road show, and that's the first clue this is a country night built for dancing. Billie-Lee Baker and Grant Daniell share lead vocals in the Brisbane five-piece, all in full costume, working through new and older country: Shaboozey, Ella Langley and Post Malone next to Brooks & Dunn, Dolly Parton's 9 to 5, Johnny Cash and Achy Breaky Heart. Plan on roughly three and a half hours in total: a pair of hour-long sets and a 40-minute set, with breaks in between for instrument changes. They bring a sound engineer plus PA and lighting for most rooms, and between sets the engineer runs a DJ service that takes requests, so the floor keeps going. Big rooms and outdoor stages need extra gear. They travel all over Australia.
