Mystica the Mermaid is a mermaid costume character based in Melbourne, VIC.
Mystica the Mermaid makes a proper entrance. A sailor or pirate assistant sets up a shell throne and treasure chest first, then wheels Mystica in on a wagon, fan veils dancing and a bubble machine leaving a trail, to upbeat music from a small water-resistant speaker. At kids' parties there are ocean-themed sing-alongs and follow-along dances led on a headset mic, plus games, storytime, face jewels, wish bracelets, photos and swimming tricks. Adult events get a mermaid greeter, ambient or interactive swimming, photos and fan veil dancing, to your playlist or DJ, and Mystica works as a promotional model too. A wagon-friendly path from the car to the performance spot helps. Mystica works from Melbourne within 100 km, and is insured, police checked and cleared to work with children.
